An interesting and somewhat bleak tale of life on the streets.
This is about young people who live on the streets and are “Streetwise.”
Dumpster diving, stealing, begging, and prostitution.
See the movie below, it is on YouTube:
If you watch it and you liked it then check out the wikipedia page for more information.
This film was excellent. It is similar to the films of Miyazaki. This comes from the creator of Digimon so the animation will be similar.
This movie is good for kids and adults. The movie is NOT cliche. It has maybe a twist … maybe a turn or two. I enjoyed it for the master and apprentice aspect in some ways similar to The Karate Kid.
This film is entertaining and has a lot of heart. On my 10 point scale I give it an 8 out of 10.
Warning: It does have violence and some blood (but not much).
Joy was an excellent film.
What it truly does highlight is how the VERY ambitious JOY must struggle against her own family and her own “circle” in order to become successful.
Joy is almost a representation of ATLAS SHRUGGED by Ayn Rand. They key character – Joy – is a powerhouse. Her mind is full of ideas and entrepreneurial spirit. However, she has been burdened with a family of parasites who drain her.
As the movie is occurring, one truly does fell sympathy and support for JOY because there are so many forces working against her and she can not seem to get a positive break!
I would recommend the movie to anyone who has ever had an idea about making a business or people who like to support others who are in a troubling situation.
Thank you. STAY FLUFFY

Gotta Say, Short Term 12 was a great movie. It had MAJOR FEELS! I did not cry but I came close (to crying).
The movie is about life at a facility for teenagers where they live there short term; like 5 weeks up to 3 years. It is supposed to be a “safe environment” where they can live and work through their problems. The movie is basically told through the lens of the main character played by Brie Larson. Her eyes can kill.
If you are the kind of person who feels empathy (and sympathy) for others, then this movie is going to hit you in the heart. The film just works on lots of different levels.
Also, if you consider yourself to be someone who “likes GOOD movies” then I have to give this movie a DOUBLE RECOMMENDATION because of how good it is. It is not a comedy but it does have some humor.
As somebody who has worked with kids and teenagers, I can relate.
BIG RECOMMENDATION from DJ ROBO BISCUIT.

As a movie, Donnie Darko has a feeling that the main character is moving towards Doom.
You (as the viewer) constantly feel within the film that things are not as they are supposed to be and there is going to be some form of strange occurence
The work is no doubt a Masterpiece by creator Richard Kelly
DJ ROBO BISCUIT does not want to spoil the film
BUT, the film DOES involve a man-size Bunny Rabbit and the film does involve Time Travel
After watching, the movie really stays with you
If you are a Thinker or a Questioner or somebody who wonders “Why?” then I think you will be thoroughly enthralled upon going online and reading a “Donnie Darko explained” Post
Job well done by Director Richard Kelly
DJ ROBO BISCUIT (stay fluffy my friends)
Based on the short story “All You Zombies” by Robert Heinlein
Heinlein was also the author of STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND which is an excellent book
PreDestination was a very intriguing movie if you enjoy time travel as well as paradox and you have some patience and are willing to watch a cerebral film.
Put “PreDestination” right on the list with DONNIE DARKO and THE PRESTIGE and possibly TWELVE MONKEYS
movies that are very good and they stay with you
If you appreciate Science Fiction and you like Time Travel and you are a “thinker” then you will enjoy PREDESTINATION

DJ ROBO BISCUIT likes movies. He enjoys watching them. He enjoys pondering them.
Spotlight. Spotlight was a good movie. It had my attention all the way through. It was about the “Spotlight team” at the Boston Globe. They investigated the Catholic Church. I know it sounds crazy but … there were Priests molesting kids. And there were A LOT of priests doing it. Gotta recommend the movie. SPOTLIGHT!
The End of the Tour. This is a movie about David Foster Wallace. He was a genius. And he committed suicide. The movie is the interview between David Lipsky and David Foster Wallace. Obviously, artists become more famous after they die. Based on DFW’s work, he had genius qualities. Also, he was not a perfect person by any regards but as a character study the story is very interesting! I gotta recommend The End of the Tour.
Me and Earl and The Dying Girl. This film was excellent. The style was great. Also, be ready for some FEELS. It will hit you. It serves as a good platform for an interracial friendship and the tender relationship between an awkward teen and a Dying Girl. I really enjoyed the film. It is definitely not your typical high school movie. Two Thumbs up (and as a tribute to Tim Heidecker “I gotta give it 5 Bags of Popcorn.”)
The Talented Mr. Ripley. Fascinating but a little bit sickening. The film was definitely interesting. I find it interesting due to the idea of the relationships and also, the movie is possible because the players within the film are all part of the wealthy elite.
Adult World. The movie has charm. I enjoyed the soundtrack. I liked the way this film FELT. I have a little crush on Emma Roberts. Definitely a great film for recent college grads, I think the film brings value in that way.
